Where to find unique Decorative Objects, Jewelry & Furniture (part 2)
No more gatekeeping… here are more of my favorite places to shop or find inspiration for home decor, jewelry, and accessories.
Found By The HERE
Created by Amah Modek, Found By The is the ultimate source for inspiration. While they don’t sell online or have a permanent store, they do several pop ups each year and often collaborate with my absolute favorite vintage store in Paris, Merci, c’est vintage. If you can’t make it to one of their pop ups, their instagram feed is the perfect place for finding things to search for on eBay, Chairish, or at your local vintage stores.
Here are a few of the amazing brands they sourced from for their most recent “Le Pop Up” at The Fifth Avenue Hotel NYC back in March:
Shell & Stone Necklace by Laoli Jewelry
1960’s Minaudière Clutch by Merci, c’est Vintage
Vega Comb by mosquito
Archival Minaudière Clutch by Emanuele Pantanella Design
LEVANT HERE
Founded in 2023 by best friends Süreya Köprülü and Naz Muessel, who grew up together in NYC. With backgrounds in Middle Eastern politics and creative direction, LEVANT was created with a desire to share a non-obvious perspective on Eastern design and culture.
LEVANT sells their own designs, often collaborating with talented artisans, along with a selection of antique decorative objects.
They also write stories about design, their travels, and their brand collaborations on their website’s Journal page. I also just discovered that they created the most european summer playlist on spotify HERE if you’re in need of new music.
Somerset House HERE
Founded by Alan Eckstein, Somerset House was created as a retail space that housed a growing collection of vintage furniture and collectible items sourced from past interior design and staging projects. The retail space quickly evolved into a gallery and studio.
This incredible Vintage Italian settee in the manner of Cesare Lacca is newly reupholstered and available HERE.
Pair of bronze and rosewood lamps HERE
Hand knotted wool & silk tapestry HERE

“Somerset House is influenced by different design movements and eras that range from Italian and Danish Modern to hints of Baroque and Primitive. We are drawn to pieces and combinations that are unusual while standing the test of time”. - Alan Eckstein
